Social Empires is a social network game from social games developer Social Point. It is Social Points first combat and strategy game.
Setting
Social Empires portrays a military cartoon world composed mostly of Plots of land with each player beginning with 1 square of land, and being able to expand to up to 9 plots of land,at a cost of gold or cash. Each new square is progressively more expensive. The game is set in medieval times. Humans soldiers (controlled by the player) battle against trolls who attack their base, and against other human armies in either player versus player base attacks or tournaments. Advanced units such as dragons, monsters and gods can also be used by the human player to support his/her army.
Players have the option of going on quests. Quests take place in a variety of different maps, with different terrain, enemies, bosses and defensive structures that must be defeated or overcome by the player. If the player defeats all enemies he will get a reward of gold and experience.
Tournaments take place in the tournament arena. The tournament arena is a wide open space featuring a sandy-gravel colored ground with few decorations. Opposing teams line up opposite each other, surrounded by stands with various units and creatures from the game.
Survival takes place in the various survival maps. A gem is located in the center, players must use their army to defend the gem from attackers coming from the outside. The gem is surrounded by walls which divert enemies, but do not stop them because of the presence of many holes in the wall structure.(The Survival Arena is no more in the game)
